The number of cash prizes awarded in each category is based on the number of entries received in that category, and will be decided by the Show Committee Chairman.
CATEGORIES
- UP: Art under plexiglass, such as drawings, pastels, watercolors, and photographs
- NUP: Art not under plexiglass, such as acrylic or oil paintings, and photographs on canvas (must be gallery-wrapped, 1.5” deep or greater with finished edges)
- 3-D: Three-dimensional artwork

- Artwork will be accepted only at Take-In.
- Artwork not picked up at the designated Pick-Up time will become the property of Lacombe Art Guild.
SALES
All artwork in the show MUST be available for sale at the price established by the artist. Twenty percent of all sales will be donated to LAG. The LAG Show Committee will make the final decision on any conflict or question that should arise.

Online E-Registration Entry Form
The most efficient way to enter your artworks is to complete and submit an Online E-Registration Form.
Submit your Online E-Registration Form early, no later than 48 hours in advance of Take-In. Then bring your artwork and pay by cash, check, credit card, or money order at Take-In. Payments will be accepted with your art entries only at Take-In.
We strongly encourage you to submit your entries online.

Paper Registration Entry Form Submissions
You may choose submit your paper entry by hand at Take-In. For Paper Registration Form entries, please plan to arrive at Take-In early to allow for processing. Bring your labeled artwork, paper registration, and payment by cash, check, or credit card at that time.

Our judge for the 2023 Fall Art Show is Louisiana-born artist Judy Merrell. Judy was born and raised in New Orleans and started painting at the age of eight with oils, no less! After winning a few art contests in school, she was hooked on art for life!
She studied Fine Art at the University of New Orleans. Later, she and her husband Danny started a mural painting and faux finishing business, Merrell Decorative Painting, and they have been busy beautifying homes and businesses in the New Orleans area and beyond ever since.
Their decorative painting projects have been featured in many local and national publications, including Better Homes and Gardens, Louisiana Homes and Lifestyles, New Orleans Magazine, and The Times Picayune. Over the years, she has shown her work at various galleries in New Orleans, Covington, Mandeville, Folsom, LA, and Gulfport, MS.
She now divides her time between creating works of art in her Covington studio, and on the walls and ceilings
of her clients' homes. She also occasionally teaches private oil painting classes.
Hers is a life devoted to all things art!
